The Premier League and the English Football League have adopted a rescue plan to support the clubs of the Championship, League One and League Two of England. According to him, the teams from these divisions will be allocated a total of 250 million pounds. Most of the amount - 200 million, will be given in the form of an interest-free loan to the teams from the Championship. This means that each club of the second level of English football will receive 8, 33 million pounds. The loan is intended to tackle the crisis caused by the pandemic, with clubs having to repay the money by June 2024. The EUR 50 million for League One and League Two clubs is a grant and will be divided into two stages. All 48 teams will receive shares of a total of 30 million pounds.
