Live soccer Kyrie Irving likely to avoid ban for distributing antisemitic film
Brooklyn general manager Sean Marks declined to say whether there would be any internal disciplinary action against point guard Kyrie Irving for distributing an anti-Semitic film, writes The New York Post.
According to an NBA source, the league has no plans to fine or disqualify Irving.
On Saturday, Irving started the Nets against the Pacers (116:125). He is also expected to start in the rematch on Monday.
Yesterday, the NBA issued an official statement saying that hate speech, including anti-Semitic statements, is unacceptable. The league prediction by
contacts with live games made its announcement following Irving`s tweet referring to the anti-Semitic film, but did not mention the player`s name.
