Lionel Messi missed Argentina training ahead of the 2022 World Cup final.
The forward of the South American team did not take part in today`s training. Only the players who came on as a substitute or stayed on the bench in the 3-0 match against Croatia worked out on the pitch, while the starters trained in the gym.
Toward the end of the training, the base players took to the field, but Messi did not appear there - presumably because of what he felt during the match with the Croats.
The severity of the damage to the PSG player is unknown, but the Argentina national team has no doubt that Lionel will be able to play against France in the World Cup final.
