Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink will perform in the British dance show. The 53-year-old former Leeds, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Netherlands striker was among the participants in Strictly Come Dancing, a British dance show airing on BBC One since May 15, 2004, which features pairs consisting of a professional dancer and a guest star.
Going from the football field to the ballroom is certainly not something I`ve done before, but I`m looking forward to taking part in this fun challenge! "I`ll show different footwork, hopefully without own goals, " Hasselbaink said.
Jimmy Floyd is the fourth star in the new season of the show, which begins in September. Previously confirmed for the project were actor Danny Dyer (Murder, Bonecrusher, The Football Factory), actress Alexa Kingston (Doctor Who, ER) and former sprinter and endurance show Gladiators competitor Harry Akins-Heritie.
